The B.L.A.C.K. Poets present: Groove Speak

Groove Speak is a night of spoken word, hip-hop, neo-soul, and more, hosted by Mike Scott, with live music by the Groove Speak house band.  April's featured artist is Royce Lovett, a songwriter from Tallahassee, FL whose music is a fusion of hip-hop, neo-soul, and rock. Poetry performances by members of the B.L.A.C.K. Poets. A limited number fo open-mic slots are available for local musicians and poets, and sign-ups start at 7 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Doors open at 7 pm, show starts at 7:30.
